2008 SCT Fellow: Frances F. LoPresti
 She has contributed substantially to the advance of data management in the conduct of clinical trials during her 25-year involvement in medical research. She developed and incorporated key data management concepts into her data management systems long before the FDA recognized that data management was a critical component of clinical trials. It is a tribute to her that she had the foresight to see where the field of data management had to go before it would be a full partner in clinical trials research. Her key role in 3 complex trials ETDRS, IMPACT, and Post CABG were mentioned in the nominating letters. She has been involved in the Society in so many ways. She typifies the SCT member who contributes her expertise and time willingly to help others advance their knowledge of clinical trials.
