2008 SCT Fellow: William G. Henderson
 He is widely recognized as a national expert in the area of multicenter clinical trials and clinical trials methodology. His collaborative, methodological and educational contributions have made a direct and lasting impact on the design, conduct and analysis of clinical trials carried out by the Veterans Affairs Department and elsewhere. The Hines Veterans Affairs Cooperative Studies Program is recognized for his strong leadership. He developed a cohesive coordinating center team and mentored numerous biostatisticians. His 2002 videotaped course on clinical trial topics has been available for public viewing through the University of Washington Television Station and online and provides a comprehensive and easily accessible introduction to clinical trials.
