Theodore Karrison

Inducted: 2011

Ted has been a Research Associate at the University of Chicago, actively collaborating on clinical trials since 1975. He has had a direct impact on the design and analysis of clinical trials across a broad range of diseases and therapies, most recently in cancer. Ted has published several statistical methods papers, particularly in the area of survival analysis and in the design of phase II clinical trials with a continuous endpoint. He has been an active member of SCT since 1980. Ted chaired the Student Scholarship Committee, was elected to the Board of Directors, chaired the Program Committee for the 2004 Annual Meeting, and has been serving as an Associate Editor of Controlled Clinical Trials/Clinical Trials since 1999.
