GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS:
Your typed abstract will appear in print exactly as submitted. All errors and misspellings are the responsibility of the author. The abstract text must not exceed 300-word limit. Note that the 300-word limit does not include the title, author names and affiliations. The 300-word limit applies only to the text of the abstract.
- Full title of paper with no abbreviation
- Full names of authors without degrees or titles
- Institutional affiliation, city, state, or country of first author
- Text of the abstract
NOTIFICATION:
A confirmation will be sent to the email address specified in the submission. The notification will contain a link allowing you to update or delete your submission until December 1st.
CHALMERS STUDENT SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM:
Abstracts for the Thomas Chalmers Student Scholarship Program must be accompanied by a short manuscript (3-5 pages, not including tables, figures or bibliography) and a letter from the student's advisor confirming status as a fulltime student. One entry per student please.
Please submit your abstract using the online submission form (below) and indicate "Student Scholarship Program only" as your abstract type. Please then e-mail your 3-5 page manuscript (not including tables, figures or bibliography) and letter from student advisor to sct@fernley.com. All submissions will be acknowledged.
Attention Educators!
Help the Society advertise its Scholarship programs. We encourage you to post this flyer in your offices and classrooms, and to use this short ad in newsletters or other forms of announcement where potential candidates might see it.
SYLVAN GREEN AWARD:
The Society awarded its first Sylvan Green Award in 2011. Sylvan Green MD, served as President of the Society in 1994, led the Student Scholarship committee and was named an SCT Fellow in 2007. In honor of Sylvan's dedication and contributions to clinical trials this Award will be given to the best abstract submitted by a physician or dentist clinical trialist and receive a scholarship covering travel and hotel expenses of the winner to attend the meeting to present his or her paper. To be considered for the award the abstract must be authored by a physician or dentist (not a medical or dental student) and flagged as a Sylvan Green submission. One entry per person please.
